Description
Summary:This image is a watercolor conceptual painting of a city bank done by an unknown student sometime between 1917 and 1942. The top of the painting shows the front view of the bank with its brick walls, doors, windows, and sloped roof. There is a building next door, a street with people and an automobile in front of the bank and a side street with other buildings. The view is framed by trees. The middle of the painting shows the floor plans of the bank with their rooms, walls, corridors, doors, windows, bank vaults, vestibule, counters, stairs, and decorative floor coverings. The bottom of the painting shows a cross section side view of the interior of the bank with its doors, windows, counters, and stairs. There is a label in the upper left corner that reads: "School of Architecture Architectural Renderings, RG 457." The painting is in fair condition with minor edge wear and is encapsulated.
