The harbor is protected by a breakwater and there is a beacon on the tip of the peninsula. There is a ship at the wharf and an airplane approaching the airport. There is also a compass rose showing the direction of north with arrows to show the prevailing winds and a scale statement. In the upper left corner there is a perspective drawing showing the main buildings in three dimensions. In the lower left corner there is a floor plan for the administrative building with its rooms, walls, and doorways. Along the bottom of the painting there is a front view and a cross-section side view of the administrative building including the control tower. In the lower right corner is the artist's information block which reads: "Brendon A. Bond, Ala. Polytech. Inst., Class 'A' Proben [Problem] II, Plane Base in the Pacific.' The painting is in good condition and is encapsulated.
