This image is a photograph used in the book Auburn, a Pictorial History of the Loveliest Village by Mickey Logue and Jack Simms, 3rd edition, 2013, depicting the history of the city and the University. From page 271: The initial rolling of Toomer's Corner by students after a football victory may be lost in history, but it was probably in 1962 or 1963. This was the studied opinion of Pharmacist Mac Lipscomb, who operated the drugstore on the Corner from the early fifties into the mid-eighties. Pictured is a 1985 celebration, probably after Auburn's 17-14 victory over Georgia Tech in Atlanta.
