Rosen retired from Auburn to become head coach of the 1992 U.S. Men's Olympic Track Team, which won twenty medals, including five golds, at Barcelona for its best showing since 1956. After the Olympics, Rosen returned to assist Coach Glance, with the title of consultant. ... During Glance's first four seasons as head coach, Auburn records were rewritten for eighteen women's events and seven men's events. Glance later became track coach at Alabama.
