From page 308: Ninety-two-year-old Alma Stoves of Auburn had attended every varsity football game played in Jorden-Hare Stadium for forty-five years when this picture was taken in 1990. ... She attended 212 consecutive games in Auburn, including 46 homecoming games, before her death in 1992. Mrs. Stoves received a degree in American history from API in 1919 and a master's in education in 1927. She taught history at Auburn High School from the late 1940s to the mid-1960s. ...
