Description
Summary:This image is a photograph used in the book Auburn, a Pictorial History of the Loveliest Village by Mickey Logue and Jack Simms, 3rd edition, 2013, depicting the history of the city and the university. From page 324: Former Auburn Knights Orchestra members started an annual three-day reunion in the early 1970s and soon were drawing standing-room-only crowds for their Friday and Saturday night concerts at the Conference Center down Highway 29 South. Don Culley, '52, of Pelham, Alabama, Terry "Doc" Mosley, '37, of Ashville, North Carolina, and Ed Wadsworth, '41, of Metairie, Louisiana, are shown fiddling around during the 1991 reunion. The program featured alumni from each decade starting with the 1930s on stage as an orchestra for a one-hour concert. But for many the impromptu jam sessions into the wee hours were even more fun.
