Standing are Bob Richardson, Billy Tamblyn, Harold Kafer, Joseph Stephenson, Roy Wylie, and Bill Summerville. Tamblyn's bachelor's degree in 1948 was one of the first in music from API. ... When retiring in 1990, he had been on the AU music faculty for more than forty-two years and also had served as choir director and organist at Auburn First Presbyterian Church.
