Summary: | This image is a photograph used in the book Auburn, a Pictorial History of the Loveliest Village by Mickey Logue and Jack Simms, 3rd edition, 2013, depicting the history of the city and the university. From page 303: Cindy Holland finished second among four candidates in the spring of 1988, then polled 54 percent of the votes in a runoff to become the first female elected president of the AU Student Government Association. She was a public relations journalism major from Dothan and conducted an aerobics class at 7:30 a.m. three times a week for Kaz Fitness Center.
