| Summary: | This image is a photograph used in the book Auburn, a Pictorial History of the Loveliest Village by Mickey Logue and Jack Simms, 1st edition, 1981, depicting the history of the city and the university. From page 112: Wilbur Hutsell and Snitz Snider were Auburn's delegates to the 1928 Olympic Games at Amsterdam. Hutsell coached the winning 1,600-meter relay team, and Snider competed in the 400-meter run. Hutsell served as an Olympic coach three times and had four Olympic performers from Auburn.
