Description
Summary:This image is a detailed map of the state of Alabama published by the George F. Cram Company in 1922. The map shows railroads, rivers, capitols, counties, cities, towns, and forts during that period of time. Railroads are labeled with abbreviations. Counties are highlighted by the use of different colors around county borders. Grid lines are used to highlight townships. There is an inset map of the cities of Birmingham and Bessemer at the lower right corner. The map also shows railroads, rivers, and cities in small portions of the neighboring states of Georgia and Mississippi. There is a map with the title "Cram's 8 1/2 x 11 outline map of Alabama" on the back that is just an outline of the state. The map is an original copy of a printed map and is encapsulated. It is in very good condition.
