Summary:This image is a map of the state of Alabama in 1892. The map shows the railroads, rivers, capitals, counties, cities, towns, and forts during that period of time. County divisions are highlighted by the use of different border colors. There is a map key below the title to specify the symbol used to represent the railroads. Right below the bottom neat line, "John Bartholomew & Son" is printed on the right side and "Edinburgh Geographical Institute" is printed on the left side. The number "14" is printed right above the top neat line. The back of the map has texts and maps stating the U.S. mean annual rainfall and mean temperature during that period of time. The map is an original copy of a printed map and is encapsulated. The map is in good condition.
