There is an explanation or map key on the right portion of the map. "No. 31" is printed on the upper right corner and the year "1833" is penciled above it. A phrase "Entered according to Act of Congress in the Year 1833 by J.H. Colton in the Clerks Office of the District Court for the Southern District of New York" is printed on the bottom neat line. The map is photocopy of a printed copy and is mounted on cardboard. Besides some light random markings, the map is in good condition. |
