Names of the persons in charge of different offices are mentioned on the map and are listed as follows: "Milton Whitney, Chief of U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Bureau of Soils, Eugene A. Smith, State Geologist of Geological Survey of Alabama." The map is printed by "Sackett & Wilhelms Litho. & Prg.Co. New York." It is an original printed copy and is encapsulated. Except for some minor wear around the edges and folding lines, the map is in good condition.
