Taylor of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and J.F. Strouds of the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries. The base map is in part from the U.S. Geological Survey sheets. Names of the persons in charge of different offices are mentioned on the map and are listed as follows: Henry G. Knight, Chief of U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Bureau of Chemistry and Soils, A.G. McCall, Chief of Soil Investigations, Curtis F. Marbut, in charge of Soil Survey, Seth P. Storr, Commissioner of Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries, J.F. Stroud, in charge of Soil Survey. The map is printed by "Lith. A Hoen & Co. Inc." It is an original printed copy and is encapsulated. Except for some minor wear around the edges and folding lines, the map is in good condition.
