Summary: | This image is a map which shows the old federal highway system between Coneuch, Monroe Counties, and Escambia Counties in Alabama. The map shows the Corley Simmons Creek and the Escambia Rivers that intersect with the Old Federal Road on the right. It also shows the Frisco Lines Railroad that runs parallel with the road on the left. Quite a number of sinkholes are highlighted along the road. The map has several match points for adjacent maps. There is a compass rose in the middle, showing the orientation of north. There is also an "Auburn University Libraries, Auburn, Alabama, Map Collection" property stamp dated July 16, 1990 in the lower right corner of the map. The number "31" is handwritten in red in each corner. This map is a photocopy of a hand drawn blueprint and is not encapsulated. The map is in fair condition with some blue stains on the creases and the upper left corner.
