Bakeri azalea
This shrub grows in open woods at high elevations in the Cumberland Plateau in Kentucky, south across Tennessee to the mountains of northern Georgia, Alabama, and in the higher elevations of western North Carolina. It blooms about two weeks later than Rhododendron calendulaceum.
