Grass-leaved Golden Aster

This perennial is sometimes called "silk-grass" because of the silvery-silky hairs on its grasslike leaves. The linear leaves are alternate, parallel veined, with a tapering tip. The ray and disc flowers are bright yellow. It grows 1-2 ft. tall.
