Parrot Pitcher-plant
This small, bright red flower, blooms in mid-April from a rosette of prostrate leaves. It is about one inch across and blooms on a stalk about six to eight inches tall. It has a weak but pleasant odor. Picture from the collection of Robert A. Dean.
