Summary: | The largest building on Auburn University’s campus, the Haley Center is capable of accommodating 8,000 students at any given moment. The labyrinthine, 357,000-square-foot structure includes four quadrants centered around a central ten-story tower, a floor plan that prompted Ray K. Parker, a construction inspector, to describe the Haley Center as “essentially five separate buildings.” The building serves as the headquarters for the College of Education and the College of Liberal Arts, and is also houses 142 classrooms and the Auburn University Bookstore.
