The house with the address of 318 Hill Avenue Guntersville Alabama of Marshall County was built in 1947; it is a one story brick veneer single dwelling-non-farm residence with a cross gable composition shingle roof. The building faces east, has a 5x2 rectangular core with side gable front and rear projections at its outer bays. It has a less than full façade shed porch with wood posts; off centered entrance at the façade flanked by single 6/8 and 8/8 replacement windows. The house also has similar single and double windows at the side elevations with a painted brick veneer exterior walls, continuous brick foundations, and has a noncontributing frame garage to the rear. The house appears to be eligible for both Alabama and National Register marked as would contribute to a district. The house was last refurbished in 2000 and is in very good condition. |
