| Summary: | The Thrasher Cemetery primarily served as a family cemetery. Most of the records in the cemetery are members of the Thrasher family that lived close to the cemetery. The cemetery is accessible by car. From Decatur, travel west on Lawrence County road 460. Travel two miles from the Lawrence County line, head north onto County Road 327. After the road dead ends 1/2 mile later on, turn right onto County Road 214. The cemetery sits on the left side of the road past the Caddo Congregational Christian Church. The cemetery sits on a hillside. There are some unusual features in the cemetery such as tiers that mark each level of graves. There is one major tombstone that stands in the center with no inscription. |
