The home also contained a turreted Gothic tower on the west side of the home. The tower may have been used to house slaves and then servants. <span> </span>Like many plantation homes, Rocky Hill had a raised basement. <span> </span>In 1961, the home had to be demolished after years of neglect had led it to deteriorate. </span></p> |
