Colman, William Dean Letters (1861-1864)
These are letters (30) dealing with the service of William Dean Colman who served as a major on the staff of General D. S. Stanley, 2nd Division, Army of the Mississippi (U.S.A.) during the Civil War. Colman was killed in action at the Battle of Corinth, October, 1862.
