Bean, Webster’s sister, Peter Sanborn, state treasurer of New Hampshire, and various friends of Webster’s, including some fellow members of the Veteran Reserve Corps. Topics addressed include news of family and friends (in the army and out), news of the war, post-war plans for visiting friends and family, and where Webster’s money should be deposited.
