I got a letter dated 20th Dec from you to day and
have just read it. I cannot but be uneasy about
Masiah’s coming home, but you know the circumstances
better than I do. Mr Willis will leave in the morning
if he can get off and I send this by him. I also
send one hundred dollars. Be sure to acknowledge
the receipt as soon as you get it or I shall be
uneasy. I did not get a letter by John Collier.
All the others you name in your letter I received and
have written answers.
Artie, papa has worked for about 2 days on a ring for
his little girl. You must keep it for his sake and be able to
show it to him when he comes home. I must try and
make something for Buddy sometime. Good bye and tell
Ma to write something for you when she writes to me next
time. Be certain and write soon
Yours Truly G.W. Cherry
