and a ccounts due the College be placed in the hands of some responsible
person to be selected by the Executive Committee . That such person
shall have and is hereby invested with full povfer to compromise or
adjust said n otes and accounts upon such terms as he may deem best ,
or to collect the same by such as he flay consider the interest of
the ColleGe r equire, and for these purposes may empl oy ot her persons
wher ever it i s not pr a ct icable for him to attend personally .
ON HOTlON, JlliSOLVED , That the uegree of Ba chelor of Arts be conferr ed
on J ames R. Dov/dell and Howard H. Hamill, they hirJ'ing completed the
pr e s cribed course of s t udy i n the College and h een r ecorrunended by the

to the public i n behalf of the College and also : to present to the Hontgomery
District meeting in September the present stat us of the College and its claims
upon public patronage, B. B. Ross; G. v/. F. Pr i ce and D. Clopton were appointed
said comnuttee .

shall r eceive pro- rata pay for t he amount of! service rendered in prosecution
of t he general curricul-wm of t he Institution and t hat this pro- rata salary
shall be i n addition t o the f ees of the Sohool and not in abaternentof them.
