Summary: | Jackson Chadwick Wiley Minge was a student at the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama (now Auburn University) in 1899. He is referred to as J. C. Minge in the 1896 Glomerata. He died in Florida in 1971. He had two sons, David Minge and Jackson Chadwick Minge, Jr., and four grandchildren, Jackson Chadwick Minge III, Dorothy Pembroke Minge, James Hooker Minge and Lucius Hastings Minge. Male students were called cadets and participated in military training in addition to their studies. They were required to wear gray military uniforms.
