Summary:Franklin McLemore Mosley was a student at the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama (now Auburn University) in 1892. He was from Pintlala in Montgomery County in Alabama. He took 1st honors in the electrical engineering course. Mosley had strong Cherokee and Creek Indian ties. Male students were called cadets and participated in military training in addition to their studies. They were required to wear gray military uniforms.
