1915: Boiling lime sulphur
These men were students at the Alabama Polytechnic Institute (now Auburn University) around 1915. They are shown here boiling lime sulphur to use to fertilize trees in one of the orchards on campus. Male students were called cadets and participated in military training in addition to their studies....
