Summary:These men were students and faculty at the Alabama Polytechnic Institute (now Auburn University) around 1900. Dr. W. G. Harrison is the man in the middle. The other names on the back of the photograph are Wilmore, Crenshaw, Ed Mell, Dunstan, C.A. Broun, Dean, B. Blakely, Bob Trammel, W.A. Marshall, John Kimball, Frank Fontain, Ship, Charlie Nelson, and C.H. Smith. Names are questionable and in no particular order. Male students were called cadets and participated in military training in addition to their studies. They were required to wear gray military uniforms.
