They were members of the editorial staff of the Plainsman, the student newspaper. In the lower left, clockwise are: Mildred Lippet, Lenny Payne, William O'Brien, and Joe Horton. In the upper right, clockwise are : William Callaway, Dama Willis, Joyce Levins, Beverly Ann Burkhardt, and LaNelle Crowder. The picture was taken in January, 1946.
