| Summary: | Thomas Morgan Watlington was a student at the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama (now Auburn University), class of 1889. He graduated with his class and became an insurance salesman, dying in Denver, Colorado in 1939. His son, Thomas Morgan Watlington, Jr. graduated from the U.S. Military Academy and had a distinguished and highly decorated career in the Army through World War II, Korea, and the Cold War, finally achieving the rank of Major General.
