description Various scenes of coach Bear Bryant speaking at press conferences and other events. The following segments are included: 0:00:01: Bear Bryant speaking at a banquet at the Jefferson Davis Hotel in Montgomery, Alabama, possibly in 1964 or 1965. 0:01:34: Bear Bryant attending a reception for supporters of the University of Alabama in June 1975. The location is unknown, but two young African American men are standing with framed certificates near the microphone at the front of the room, and each attendee is wearing a red paper "A" on his or her chest. In the brief clip of an interview with Bryant, he mentions traveling to New York Man the following day "to get to Hershey, Pennsylvania." 0:02:28: WSFA-TV's Phil snow interviewing Bear Bryant in November 1975. They discuss upcoming bowl games, indirectly addressing accusations that Bryant had intervened in the match-ups to avoid competing against a Big Eight team in the Sugar Bowl. They also briefly speculate about the University of Alabama's prospects of competing for the national championship: "I think that's very possible, I certainly do, but we can't get into anything unless we beat Auburn."
