Summary:Aftermath of a tornado that hit a trailer park in rural Dale County, Alabama, just outside of Enterprise. The storm struck at about 1:00 a.m. on January 13, 1972, destroying 68 homes, injuring over 60 people, and killing four. The footage includes scenes of the damage and narrative by George Mitchell of WSFA-TV, as well as interviews with a state trooper, a nurse, a Red Cross worker, and local residents. Rescue crews from Troy, Enterprise, Elba, Andalusia, and Fort Rucker were on site during the filming.
