U.S. Chamber of Commerce Bulletin No. 24 includes articles concerning Independence Day celebrations of "foreign-born citizens," as well as Americanization efforts in industry and war work. The flier "Making Foreign-Born Workers Americans" outlines techniques for Americanizing immigrants in the industrial workforce. The flier "How to Reach Aliens with War Information," advises using "pro-American propaganda." Americanization techniques include distributing posters and handbills, establishing information centers and fraternal societies, and placing propaganda materials in library books and pay envelopes. The items are accompanied by a letter from Edwin A. Rumbell, Assistant to the National Americanization Committee, to W.E. Henderson of the Alabama Governor's office.
