Thanksgiving menu from the R.M.S. Aurania, en route to France.
During World War I, Walter E. Bare served in the 167th Infantry Regiment. In 1917 he traveled to France aboard the R.M.S. Aurania. This menu lists the items served during the Thanksgiving dinner; the back is signed by Bare and other American officers traveling on the ship.
