"In the New Theatre. Restaurant! Bar! Cigars! The Best of Everything!" It was owned by Diaz, Williamson, & Co. In the 1859-1860 Montgomery city directory, Joseph A. Diaz owned a cigar, wine, and liquor store that had a barroom in the rear known as "The Hole in the Wall."
