Notice issued to parents of children attending the Barnes School in Montgomery, Alabama, regarding the eighteen days the school was closed during the influenza epidemic.
Principal E. R. Barnes informs parents that the days have all been made up. "This was accomplished by teaching on Saturdays and on some other days usually taken as holidays. By diligence and wise direction, the classes have advanced as far and as thoroughly as usual."
