Letter from James A. Hall in Columbus, Kentucky, to his father, Bolling, in Alabama.

During the Civil War, James Hall served as a captain in Company K of the 24th Alabama Infantry regiment. In the letter he assures his father that someone will send him a telegraph "if anything should happen to us in battle or otherwise." A transcription is included.
