Letter from James A. Hall in Shelbyville, Tennessee, to his brother, Bolling.
During the Civil War, James served in Company K of the 24th Alabama Infantry regiment. From June 1862 to November 1863 Bolling Hall, Jr., was lieutenant colonel of the 2nd Battalion, Hilliard’s Legion.
