Letter from Crenshaw Hall in Virginia, to his father, Bolling, in Alabama.

From May 1861 to May 1862 Crenshaw Hall served in the 6th Alabama Infantry. In the letter he asks his family to send blankets and clothing ("winter luxuries"). A transcription is included.
