Summary:This article discusses the upcoming trial of the nine "Scottsboro Boys," were were falsely charged with assaulting two white women on a train. The piece commends the local citizens for allowing the authorities to handle the matter, promising that such cooperation will ensure that the defendants will be punished: "There's no complete remedy for the harm that has been done but to the credit of the citizens as a whole they have sustained respect for law and order...This was a heinous and unspeakable crime...The white man will not stand for such acts and because of this a sober mind and court are being allowed to take the place of incendiary and inflamatory [sic] maneuvers. Society is better for it."
