In the letter Thrower writes about camp life and upcoming troop movements. He also discusses matters at home, advising his family to "maik courn & rais meat & not to bother with cotton much." This letter was written on the same paper as the first page of the letter James wrote to his brother, Stephen. A transcription is included. [Original spelling retained.] |
