Summary: | During the war, Warrick served in the Coosa Home Guards, and he was a private in Company C of the 34th Alabama Infantry. In the letter he thanks Martha for her recent correspondence and asks for her current address. He mentions that his regiment had a general review the day before and "we wus revud by our prezedent Jef Davis." Warrick adds that his unit might be leaving Tennessee soon, possibly heading to Mobile: "Don't think that we will have eny fighting to do her for I think we will move from her before long."
