Letters from fourth-grade students at Bear School in Montgomery, Alabama, to Milo B. Howard, director of the Alabama Department of Archives and History.
In their letters, the children thank Howard for visiting their school and speaking to them about Alabama history. Also included is an introductory letter from teacher Margaret Kirkpatrick, as well as a response from Howard, in which he answers several questions posed by the students.
