Transcription of a protocol signed by Jean-Baptiste Le Moyne, Sieur de Bienville, Nicholas de La Salle, Francois-Alexandre Robinau De Becancour, and other French colonial officials.
The protocol deals with the anticipated travel of Lieutenant Jean Roy of La Rochelle to the Spanish colony of Vera Cruz in order to procure supplies for the French garrison at Fort Mobile. (The original document was housed at the Archives Nationales in France.)
