Royster, secretary of the Tennessee River Improvement Association, discusses the meeting: "This organization has continuously and persistently pushed the work of improvement of the Tennessee river, and will meet this year for the purpose of preparing a strong memorial to be submitted to the National Rivers and Harbors Committee." On the back of the stationery is a map showing the Tennessee River and its tributaries. |
