He also complains about conditions at the hospital: " You and all visitors are only allowed to see the [Boquett] part But Oh god follow us to the large dining room. My Father in Elbert Co Georgia never fed his Slaves half so badly and he owned over one hundred. Gove we cant live on the nice white floor which the poor crazy patients are at work on nearly all the time about fifteen to each ward and the balance of the crazy ones at work in the field corn untill twelve oclock and at it again by 2 in the evng this hot weather, and the worst Grub I ever beheld in all my born days."
