List of families from Henry County, Alabama, eligible to receive relief from the state government during the Civil War.
These were families of "volunteers absent in the army," who were unable to provide for themselves. The list gives the names of the volunteers, the number of family members, and the amount of money required by each family for a year. A transcript of the list is included.
