"Instructions to the Agents and Trustees of the Life Association of the South."

The Life Association of the South was formed in Montgomery, Alabama, in October 1869 with Dr. William Owen Baldwin as its president. In June 1870, the Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States (now Equitable Holdings, Inc.) assumed all policies, and the Association folded.
